I'm making the jump!

Ryan and I are starting a blog on wordpress that we will maintain together. I'm excited about the idea of a family blog, but I'm not so excited about wordpress.

So far I think that wordpress is hard to manipulate and figure out. I can't even change the font or font size and I HATE that.

Anyway, start visiting me there so that you can follow our new baby progress. (so far, no new baby)

Random Kris pregnancy facts

For those of you who are interested in such things...

I'll be 38 weeks on Tuesday (the first of April).
I had my first baby at 39 weeks and 5 days.
I had my second baby at 41 weeks and 3 days (and then I was induced).
I figured my due date this time as April 28 and then the doctor changed it to April 15 (which I am measuring correctly for).

Therefore, I have no idea when this baby is coming. Any guesses?

Kris' opinion of Cheerios

The only kind worth eating are Honey Nut Cheerios. All other Cheerios and especially "fake-o" brand Cheerios are not worth eating.

Note: If you've been tempted to try the new Fruity Cheerios...don't. In my experience they are probably the WORST Cheerios.

Glory got stuck behind the crib when we did some rearranging in prep for the new baby.

Kalvary's hair is beautiful and I hated to get it cut and YET...

- it does take a lot of time to keep neat and clean
- everyone else has trouble combing it
- when the baby comes I need it to be easier!
- this summer we plan to swim a lot, so shorter is better

The Sunday before she got it cut.

At the awesome kids' salon...she donated 11-12 inches to Locks of Love.

What it looks like now. I'm sure I'll have more pictures later.

Kris' opinion of knee high boots and knee length skirts

If women wear this combo in the winter they tend to look like they are "looking for work." Especially the black shiny boots with the skirt with a slit and the tights.

If you really want to wear boots with a skirt in the winter, here are my suggestions...
- wear brown boots with chunkier heals
- wear very-much-to-the-knee shirts that aren't too tight and don't have a slit

What do you think?

I feel huge these days and am starting to have to be careful that I don't over do it. I've really been doing fine, though. Nothing interesting to report on the pregancy front.

We've been slowly acquiring dress-up clothes these days. They both love the wings that we just got. (not that you can tell from the picture of Glory)

Glory's lip is much better now. I don't think there will even be a scar. Also, the other day she surprised me with her ability to walk in these dress-up shoes that only have a strap across the toes and have about inch high heals. Seriously, she was walking like a pro.
